Engineered for Critical Cardiovascular Use

RAUMEDIC ECC tubing has been used in heart surgery for over 60 years. Produced in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms and processed using laminar flow units, our silicone tubing meets the strictest hygienic and quality demands. Whether for blood transport or pump segments, our ECC tubing is designed to safely support life-critical functions.
The smooth inner surface encourages quick adsorption of blood proteins like albumin, promoting quasi-physiological conditions during ECC procedures. This improves the priming process and minimizes reactions during blood contact.

Superior durability in pump use

Extended service life far beyond a standard heart-lung operation

Priming-friendly inner surface

Rapid formation of quasi-physiological layer when in contact with blood

High biocompatibility

Uncritical in cytotoxicity and hemolysis testing
