Silicone tubing for handling liquids under pressure
SILMOTION®-H is the pressure-optimized evolution of our proven SILMOTION®-T tubing. While based on the same premium raw material, SILMOTION®-H features a higher Shore A hardness of 80 (vs. 60 in SILMOTION®-T), resulting in approx. 50% higher pressure stability depending on the size. The maximum recommended operating pressure increases from 1.5 bar to 2.5 bar, enabling wider use in process environments where higher mechanical stress is expected.
Just like its counterpart, SILMOTION®-H meets the strict standards of pharmaceutical, laboratory, and biotech manufacturing. It is ideal for applications such as Media Processing, Buffer Preparation, Filtration, Fermentation, or Cell Harvesting – especially when increased pressure demands are present.
With patented Low Tack surface treatment and a refined material formulation, it ensures secure and clean fluid transfer even under higher operational pressures.

High Pressure Resistance
Engineered for demanding biopharma applications with increased operational pressure up to 2.5 bar – ideal for critical process steps under mechanical stress.

Form Stability and Flow Control
The higher Shore A hardness (80) ensures dimensional integrity even under elevated operating pressures.

Cleanroom-Grade Purity
Manufactured and tested to strict industry standards – for reliable performance in regulated environments.

FAQ
SILMOTION®-H is recommended for the same applications as SILMOTION®-T, but especially where higher internal pressure is present. These include high-performance fluid transfer in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical production.
SILMOTION®-H has a higher Shore hardness (80 A vs. 60 A), resulting in approx. 50% increased pressure resistance (depending on dimensions). It is ideal for high-pressure applications while maintaining most of the known benefits of SILMOTION®-T.
SILMOTION®-H and SILMOTION®-T share the same high-purity base components. The difference lies in the hardness and pressure resilience.
